Inter-Merchant Transfers are enabled by adding a merchant to a Transfer Group in their gateway TERMID setup (This is something that the SportsPay Team will set up for you).
A Transfer Group might be assigned to a sport governing body that needs to receive a portion of registrations fees from all of the leagues it administers. Or if used to collect platform fees, SportsPay will add each of the Registration Platform’s merchants to the Transfer Group for that platform.
In order to successfully transfer funds, both the sending and receiving merchants must be part of the same Transfer Group.
Each TERMID can be a member of multiple transfer groups. A TERMID can also be configured as send-only or receive-only within a transfer group.
