Introduction

Web-Redirect processing involves not only the InterPay™ gateway and the registration platform, but the customer’s web browser as well. This makes the process seem complex however it is not difficult to implement and the benefits of not being exposed to card data are significant.

With Web-Redirect processing, it is Sportspay that provides the payment page where the customer enters their credit card information.

The greatest advantage of Web-Redirect is that you and your users are automatically eligible to use all new features without any additional development work. You only need to integrate once and in turn you get access to all of SportsPay’s enhancements.

Interaction between the registration platform and the InterPay™ payment gateway is handled through three messages: StartSession, GetResult and Ack.

All three message types require certain fields in every request so that the InterPay™ gateway can validate the request in order to credit the appropriate merchant account. Similarly, certain fields are always provided in the response regardless of the type of the message.
